Mary Hare Primary pupils spent the weekend at home baking to help the people in Haiti

Tuesday 26th January 2010

Mary Hare Primary pupils spent the weekend at home baking, to raise money for the people inHaiti who have nothing.  There were chocolate cakes, gingerbread men, butterfuly cakes, jam tarts, flapjacks, iced cakes and biscuits.

At morning break, Class 3 brought their goodies along to the Secondary school and set up a cake stall in Blount Hall, much to everyone's delight!  Pupls and staff supported the cause generously and almost £95 was raised, which will go directly to the Haiti appeal.  The rest of the cakes are being sold later this week, so the fundraising total will hopefully increase even further.

Well done to everyone who helped - they were delicious!
